We have a breakfastbuffet in the restaurant, the breakfast is from 07:00 AM till 10:00 AM. On Satuday and Sunday the breakfast is till 10:30 AM.

Lunch package
Would you like to take your lunch with you? You can find more information at the reception.

The kitchen is opened till 09:30 PM for dinner. We recommend booking a table in advance for dinner.

Allergiesand dietary requirements
We are happy to take your (diet) wishes and / or food allergies into account. If you have not stated this when making your reservation, we would like to hear this at check in, so that our kitchen can take this into account.

Accessible with the train
City Hotel de Jonge is located within walking distance of the station. You leave the station through the “Stationsstraat”. At the end of the street you go right to the “Oostersingel” and then turn left to the “Noordersingel”. Turn left again to the “Brinkstraat”. You will see the hotel right in front of you.

The best place to park your car is in the parking garage “Stadhuis”, located on “Javastraat 15”. De parking garage is 300 metres walking from our hotel. The costs are €10,50 per day (this concerns a calander day, and for consecutive hours) you can pay in the garage. Every Wednesday and Saturday there is a market right in front of the hotel. Therefore you cannot park at the hotel till 05:00 PM. On Tuesday- and Friday night you cannot park your car in the market area, because they will be removed at 5:00 AM.

If you come by motorbike, we offer the possibility to park it safely in the courtyard of our hotel.

There are some parking spaces in front of the hotel, including one disabled place. These parking lots are free between 6:00 PM and 9:00 AM, on Friday night after 9:00 PM and Sunday, the whole day. If you have any question about the parking, feel free to contact us.

  • You can check in from 03:00 PM till 11:00 PM every day. If you are later than 11:00 PM, please contact the reception.
  • When you arrive before 03:00 PM, you can safely leave your luggage with us We have a locked room for the luggage.
  • Check out till 11:00 AM.
  • Not tired of it in Assen yet? Choose a late checkout The room is still available till 6:00 PM for a price of €25,-. This is only possible in consultation with the reception and based on availability.

About City Hotel de Jonge
City Hotel de Jonge is located in the city centre of Assen. The hotel has 72 renovated, modern rooms. You can choose between a comfort, triple of executive room. Look at our rooms though the virtual tour. Rooms.

Room facilities

  • Every room has a bathroom with a shower.
  • The hotel features two rooms for special needs. You can contact the reception to reserve them.
  • The hotel does not have family rooms. But we have triple rooms or two rooms with a connecting door To reserve these, you can contact the reception.
  • We don’t have rooms for only 1 person, but our two persons room can be booked for 1 person.
  • We have some rooms where pets are allowed. The extra costs are € 15.00 per night. A maximum of 1 pet per room.
  • You can book a baby bed for €7,50 per night extra. This is only possible on our comfort or triple rooms. It is not possible to book an extra bed.

It is possible to book several packages in a row, please contact the reception for this. For single use, there will be a charge of €30,00 per room per night.

It is possible to cancel your reservation free of charge up till 24 hours before arrival. . If you have booked through another booking website, you must cancel or change the reservation through their website. If you made a non-refundable booking, you cannot change or cancel the reservation.

Extra costs
All prices are excluding city tax, which is €1,45 per person per night.

A minimum age of 18 years is required to book a room. There must also be one adult in each room.

Due to the corona measures, we are currently working with different opening hours. The restaurant is not open for guests who are not staying at the hotel.

Normally opening hours will be:

  • Reception: 24 hours a day
  • Restaurant: 07:00 AM till 11:00 PM
  • Kitchen: 12:00 AM till 9:30 PM.
